Decentralized Monetization​

Most decentralized storage protocols only support "Paid Storage." Shelby pioneers the "Paid Read" model. Provenode taps directly into this to build a seamless Pay-Per-Inference marketplace.

The Flow​

  1. Publish: When you deploy a model in Provenode, you can list it on the Community Marketplace and set a price (e.g., 0.05 SBY per inference).
  2. Import: When another user or edge device attempts to pull your model, the Provenode SDK automatically negotiates a Shelby Micropayment Channel.
  3. Earnings: You earn SBY tokens in real-time as your models are used across the DePIN network.

Accessing the Marketplace​

Navigate to Growth -> Marketplace to browse community models or publish your own with token-gated access.

Multi-Chain Monetization (Solana Bridge)​

While the Shelby Protocol coordinates on the Aptos blockchain, Provenode leverages Shelby's chain-agnostic data plane to offer Multi-Chain Payments. When users click to import a premium AI model, they can choose to pay via the native Aptos (SBY) token, or use Solana (USDC). Provenode's smart contract logic handles the bridging to seamlessly unlock the Shelby micropayment channel!
